Cem Tanrıkulu, Turkish architect, artist and designer, makes various architectural project on different dimension of spaces all around the world. Born in 1974, he studied Interior Designer
in Mimar Sinan University in İstanbul, Turkey.

He achieved many design and implementation projects with various designers and manufacturers in Italy and Germany. He has been working on product design and manufacturing in Birim Furniture Company of which he has been one of the partners since 1994. Furthermore, he continues home, office, social spaces, building and boat project design and implementation within Cem Tanrikulu Studio company, of which he is the founder. He has been a guest lecturer on project and final projects at METU, istanbul Technical University and Okan University since 2006. He has been a jury member in various competitions, while his projects have been exhibited in professional exhibitions.

Cem creates philosophical scenes with unique sensation of finishes. It is deeply felt ultimate sophistication of simplicity yet layered in a long poetical light. His timeless spaces are like a long sunset shot; still warm but ready for an eclectic dreams waiting to become true. He perfectly materialize emotions by bringing into being pleasurable life time experienced in dramatic shelters. In his dimension, everything is attached to another time with another soul. It is felt a rhizomatical link in between his every edges he created.

He places every single object with the perfect creativity of petals, from inside out; calm, fresh and scented. This makes to feel a transformative experience in the fields which he created. To characterize a non-dualistic experience for his viewer, his belief in new image is both notions and planes.

Cem’s creations starts with a plain silken line in which his unique sensational style is formed as a modern fairytale in a dreamy spaceship; softly lobed planes in an unextended space becomes sensory.
